Dave Grohl has been at the face of rock for over 20 years. He first burst onto the scene in 1990 when he became the drummer for Nirvana. Grohl was to be the longest serving drummer of Nirvana’s short but intense run. Nirvana went on to sell over fifty million records worldwide, and to be referred to by Rolling Stone as the flagship band of Generation X. Whatever Grohl would go on to achieve, for many fans he will always be seen as the drummer for Nirvana.
After their front man Kurt Cobain in 1994, Grohl went on to form rock band, the Foo Fighters. However, this time it was not as a drummer, but as front man and songwriter. more…
